UltraTech Xtralite is a lightweight Aerated Autoclaved Concrete (AAC) block ideal for multi-storey structures. Compared to standard bricks and blocks, Xtralite is significantly lighter, which reduces the overall dead load of buildings and decreases the need for steel and concrete. Its efficient design requires fewer joints, leading to savings in jointing materials, time, and labor.

Manufactured through a reaction between aluminium and a blend of lime, cement, and fly ash, UltraTech Xtralite forms millions of tiny air cells due to the hydrogen gas released during the process. This results in a strong cellular structure that is further reinforced by high-pressure steam curing in autoclaves. The end product is not only lightweight but also boasts high compressive strength.

In addition to its structural benefits, UltraTech Xtralite provides excellent thermal and sound insulation. It also offers fire and earthquake resistance, making it suitable for modern constructions and high-rise buildings.
